Zerto Virtual Replication 2.0 Demo at VMworld 2012. I have passed by the Zerto's stand to see a demo of their Zerto Virtual Replication 2.0 Demo. I have reviewed the Zerto's product recently and so you can read the full product review, together with prerequisites and the install and configure procedure in my post.
Replication of VMs from one datacenter to another with robust, features rich and easy to use product, enables the IT to stay online in case of disaster on primary site. You can protect multiple remote sites by replicating them to the main site as well.
Each site has to have VMware vCenter present. VMware vSphere Essentials and upwards are the version of the VMware versions supported. Zerto VR 2.0 can also replicate VMs or group of VMs to the cloud (or from the cloud) when paired with vCloud Director.
The product has back and forth replication capability, pre-seeding options for large VMs, and many more features.
Josh had the pleasure to show me the Zerto's product in action…
The environment in the solution exchange in Barcelona is boiling, very crowdy, lot's of people and a lot of interesting stuff there to watch out.
Here is the Demo video of Zerto Virtual Replication 2.0
