VMware free fling utility called Web Commander 3.0 has been recently updated. The default UI presents objects, which are PowerCLI/PowerShell objects for interacting with AD, Horizon View Broker, Guest VMs and (or) vSphere actions like add/remove/start/stop for VMs. Also you can take snapshots or rename VMs.
Web Commander is a web based interface to provide a front-end for managing PowerCLI scripts which can interact with vSphere, can do VMs actions and with workflow actions which can be executed in parallel. It allows to share a directory where your scripts located to wider audience which can execute those scripts instead of having access to full vSphere client.
Web Commander – What's new in v. 3.0:
1. New UI style
2. Enchanced workflow UI controls
3. Embedded workflow (by running a workflow as a command)
4. A bunch of new and enhanced commands
VMware Web Commander 3.0 can be downloaded from VMware Flings website here. Make sure to check the system requirements (needs Windows 7 and .NET) and also the Install/config PDF file which you can also find at that location.
