VMware vCloud Director enables customers to build secure private and public clouds. Applications can be deployed across private and public clouds. The pooled computing, network and storage resources are offered as a catalog through web based portal.

Each has isolated virtual resources, independent LDAP-authentication, specific policy controls, and unique catalogs.
