John Troyer has announced this year's vExpert 2013 awards through the VMTN blog. This year – the largest group of vExperts (580). People with passion to VMware technology. The news that just came were expected by many people from days or weeks. The official e-mail did not arrived yet, but the Twitter World went crazy with the news this morning. My thanks to @jtroyer and the vExpert team for this award again! The list is just enormous – 580 581 names there! Good to see.
For those who don't know, the vExpert award is not a technical certification, but a recognition for what you've done for the community the year before, like sharing VMware knowledge, expertize, blogging, podcasting …
Quote from the announce:
We’re pleased to announce the list of vExperts for 2013. Each of these vExperts have demonstrated significant contributions to the community and a willingness to share their expertise with others. We are blown away by the passion and knowledge in this group, a group that is responsible for much of the virtualization evangelism that is taking place in the world — both publicly in books, blogs, online forums, and VMUGs; and privately inside customers and VMware partners. Congratulations to you all!
Thanks again Corey Romero and the VMware Social Media & Community Team for the award…
Check out the comments on the VMTN post there to request your free Tintri shirt! Nice -:)
