Final Thoughs
The Veeam Backup Cloud Edition shows clearly the new possibilities for smaller customers with small budgets. Few years back there wasn't any Cloud storage offers available, and so having a possibility for an enterprise admin, to automate this task through an easy set it an forgot it UI is another step forward for Veeam customers. A usual admin needs few things to keep him happy:
- A backup jobs that just works
- Off site backups in case there is a problem on the main site
I've seen some shops destroyed by fire with full server room lost… this is not an nice view. The only way up to now was having to manually setup an USB off site storage without second DR site. The times are changing….-:)
