As you know, the VMware “fundamental” training are free and so it's quite interesting to get you started with product or technology without paying a dime. Those free pieces of training are delivered to your web browser so you'll need an internet connection in order to follow the courses.
Just a quick note, in case you don't know Pluralsight. They have a huge catalog of training courses with more advanced topics for many technologies. Not only VMware. A way back when I was studying to pass my VCAP-DCD and DCA exams, I used Pluralsight's training online. If you're vExpert you can ask for a free account, but even if it's not the case you can take a subscription the time your learning for the exam. Cancel anytime. You might even get your boss to pay for it… Check Pluralsight!
