The 2013 is heading slowly to the end. It's inevitable. Each one of us getting older, but I say it's like a good french wine – getting better with age… -:). So today I wanted to do a recap post showing which posts people were reading most this year and what kind of posts they like. There are posts I really enjoy writing, like step-by-step posts which are helpful of other. Shooting videos is more difficult as it takes time and also one has to plan ahead to get a good result, seek for some free intro which don't suck etc…
Many things has happened this year – vSphere 5.5 release, VMworld Barcelona (sunny again), but the beginning of the year has started with an annual TOP blog voting where the blog took 3rd place as an Independent blogger. As I've heard, this year's voting shall take place and I wonder how many more new active blogs comes into the competition.
Here is the recap of best viewed posts on ESX virtualization. There are more, even more useful posts which has been published through the year, but did not make it to the top 10.
Possibly due to a date of publication. Posts published in second half of the year did not manage to get as much visits as posts which were published at the beginning of the year. But anyway. Some posts just performs better than other, who knows why…
But I might do a separate post which will recap the posts that I think that should get more “spotlight”.
Top 10 visited posts in 2013:
- The root or ESX Virtualization – www.vladan.fr – “Vladan SEGET blog” or vladan is #1 on Google…

There is more posts that did not make it to the Top 10, I'd like to quickly mention the vSphere Data protection serie Install/config, or what to do when you have a Realtek NIC which is not detected under ESXi 5.5
Other resources that I've added to the blog in 2013.
I have also added a vSphere 5.5 page which starts to fill up with posts for vSphere 5.5, ESXi 5.5 and the different vCloud Suite 5.5 products and tutorials. Even if it's not beefed like the vSphere 5.1 page, it has already has some nice how-to's and videos.
Speaking videos, I'll try to shoot more videos this year. Promise. I found that the videos brings really more than posts, or that the combination of both is good. Stay tuned – Subscribe to our YouTube Channel.
I know that there are still a lot of folks without correct bandwidth so they struggle to get good viewing experience, so I might do an upload of my videos to a public repository too so they'll be available for direct download.
If you have an idea what kind of posts (videos) you'd like to see covering which kind of technology (product), don't hesitate to comment or get in touch on Twitter. With that said, thanks for reading ESX Virtualization blog!
