Amazon has released Mastering VMware vSphere 5.
New book from Scott Lowe – Mastering VMware vSphere 5, was released recently. This book is one of the best (if not the best one) about vSphere 5. Whether you're new to virtualization under VMware or experienced VCP, this book is a reference. I'm ordering my copy too. Scott is a great author and great writer. His blog at blog.scottlowe.org inspired many of starting bloggers and people learning about virtualization.
A quick review from Amazon:
Written by leading VMware expert, this book covers all the features and capabilities of VMware vSphere. You'll learn how to install, configure, operate, manage, and secure the latest release.
- Covers all the new features and capabilities of the much-anticipated new release of VMware vSphere
- Discusses the planning, installation, operation, and management for the latest release
- Reviews migration to the latest vSphere software
- Offers hands-on instruction and clear explanations with real-world examples
And a few words from Scott about the launch:
The eagerly-anticipated vSphere 5 book, are now available from Amazon. At the time of this writing, the Kindle version was priced higher than the paperback version, but I’m hoping that Amazon—who solely controls pricing for Kindle books—will drop the price soon.
Scott works as a vSpecialist at EMC, together with other vSpecialists and vExperts. I'm looking forward to see Scott and other bloggers at VMworld Copenhagen again this year. You can still reserve your seat there !!!!
You can check out my page Books on my website, where I recommend other books oriented on virtualization and VMware.
This website is updated daily, so if you don't want to miss a piece, I would recommend you to subscribe to my RSS feed. In case you don't know what is rss, you can check my page on that. I remember few years back I did not know either, and I was already in the IT wagon. But no shame on that, we all learn all the year long.. and every day.. -:)
Enjoy…
