Where is the Microsoft 365 backup data stored?
You can select storage regions during the initial set up. Available storage locations include the United States (Iowa), EU (the Netherlands), UK, Canada and Australia.
To comply with GDPR and other data protection regulations, you can use Afi data residency policies to store your backups in multiple storage regions, based on the AAD groups, Microsoft multi-geo data location settings, or custom resource groups.
How is Afi different from Veeam Microsoft 365 backup or legacy vendors?
Veeam M365 backup is one of the most popular solutions, but it is not a complete cloud service. It offers software that needs to be installed, maintained and managed. We believe that a cloud-to-cloud backup is a more practical and relevant option for most customers that need to protect their Microsoft 365 data.
