Free video screen capture software.
When it comes to capture a video from your screen, you have several choices. There are a professional actors on the market you can buy if you have the money, like Camtasia Studio. Those are the best ever investment if you can afford it (299$ per copy) and if you do some video screen captures on regular basis.
And there are also Freeware applications, like Jing and others. Today I wanted to introduce you one freeware application which captured my attention. The application's name is called Free Screen to Video.
What's the features?
- possibility to export captures videos in FLV, AVI, SWF or WMV
- you can capture full screen, active window or area.
Then when you finished to show something on your screen and you want to end capture, just hit F10. You can also pause the capture by hitting the F9. Nothig really difficult.
There is no transitions like in Camtasia or other features. Since it's free time I'll be showing a video with this, It's just a test video…My website is powered by WordPress – free software and I'm using WP plugin called FLV Embed.
when you want to embed for example a capture as a flv file you must respect a certain syntax afterwards, and you must do it in the html TAB.
I can show you that it's not difficult either. I just uploaded the file via FTP to newly created folder at my hosting provider which is Hostcolor – with Filezilla (free FTP client).
Here is the syntax for the WP-plugin: [flv:url width height]
[flv:https://www.vladan.fr/wp-content/video/test.flv 530 400]
You can also upload an AVI file to YouTube and you can embed the code provided by Youtube… I have a YouTube channel where I can easily store my videos which cannot be longer than 10 min…

Thanks! on windows 8 there’s no lifeframe, but there is that camera picture on the v, so if anyone is on windows 8, it actually takes you to “”camera”” which still does the recording, just seems to be a more basic GUI. Thanks a lot for the help!
