My blogging experience at VMworld Copenhagen 2010. I'm here at the VMworld Copenhagen this year, for the first time. It's been quite of time that this kind of event I thought would be very exiting to attend. And all this is now happening.
I was just being able to attend the keynote as a blogger, being seated with the other social media contributors in the front right of the conference hall. This year's VMworld in Copenhagen has more than 6000 attendees, which is quite a bit more than what was expected. VMware has expected about 5000 visitors, since last year in Cannes (France) the number of visitors were about 4700.
So the event started for the public today with the principal keynote, will follow with general sessions, super sessions… And the possibilities to do some labs too. The most successful lab it seems to be the vCD lab – vCloud Director lab. For me, it's quite impossible to do all, blogging, catching up with the sessions and the labs.
But since the sessions will be available afterward through the WMworld 2010 subscription, I'll might prefer to do more labs, then to attend a sessions, but there are some sessions I would like to see anyway, so the choice is quite hard to make.
And here is the bloggers lounge at VMworld Copenhagen. The interviews for VMware TV are made here. And actually, I've been asked for an interview too. The general surprise was when I actually told them that I work and live at Reunion Island for a local IT company called Omicrone…
