Xavier Genestos is a book writer and author since 10 years! He started to write books with Windows Server 2021 where he covered in details features such as Active Directory Recycle bin whcih is still present in the latest version of Windows Server 2022. Those features were pillars to the Windows OS and AD. He then wrote books on MS Exchange, GPO, Active Directory, Veeam, Linux and others. All of them really valuable for IT audience.
Quote:
We could live without many of the new features provided by current versions of Windows Server, however, we will be forced to migrate to this operating system due to the life cycle imposed by the manufacturer, in this case: Microsoft.
Surely in 10 years, we will have many Windows Server 2022 that will have to migrate to new versions because they will run out of patches, let's remember that the life cycle of Windows Server is precise: 10 years.
Sooner or later, we will have to implement this operating system, which is why it is so important to start studying it right now and implement it knowing everything you need, whether in on-premises environments or in cloud environments.
For those of you who haven't read other books in the IT book collection, let me explain that this book is in line with all the others: DIN-A4 format, in Spanish, with diagrams, screenshots, step-by-step labs, recommendations, etc…
This Windows Server 2022 book, like the rest of the IT books in the collection, are not sponsored by any software manufacturer, nor are they oriented towards official certification, so the content you will find tries to be as useful as possible in order to be able to apply everything learned in the infrastructure of the company, whether small, medium or large.
