VMworld Copenhagen offers one of the last chances to register and attend one of the biggest IT events in Europe. Last year I've attend for the first time such a big event as a blogger and I can say… it's huge show. I was not able to go to Las Vegas for VMworld 2011, but I'm able to attend the Copenhagen event. A very big thanks to Xangati which helped me out to cover part of the expenses this year.. Check out my review of Xangati Management Dashboard (XMD) and XMD for VDI...
At VMworld Copenhagen 2011, I'm sure that there will be announced other cool projects and new releases, which did not made it for the deadline for Vegas. And I'll be able to see myself all the cool projects which are under development at VMware… like Octopus, Appblast… and more.
I have reserved my schedule for this year, and the choice was not easy.. I hope to reserve some time for labs and play with Thinapp Factory too… -:) Follow Thinapp Factory on Twitter to stay updated !@ThinAppFactory

The LABS:
VMworld Copenhagen will stage more than 18,000 lab seats and conduct up to 480 simultaneous Lab sessions during the four-day event. To build out this environment, we have committed 75,000+ man-hours in Lab creation and development to produce 30 Lab topics – all powered by vSphere Hypervisor, formerly vSphere ESXi. The Labs will cover everything from virtualized desktop infrastructure, through the vSphere-powered data center and into the VMware-powered cloud. With easy access to more than 100 VMware Subject Matter Experts on hand to answer questions and explore options, you'll get one-on-one attention when you need it, and still have the flexibility to move at your own pace. Forget pre-registration. With over 40 hours of available Lab time throughout the conference, you're free to experience the latest in VMware offerings on your own schedule.
I think that for the Europeans is much easier to attend, it's closer. For the ones that ignores where I live, I actually live in France, the ultra-marine. In fact I live on Reunion Island (Fr) which is a French overseas territory located close to Mauritius in Indian Ocean. Near One milion people lives on the island, which got Unesco's recognized sites last year.
In case you're still hesitating or trying to convince your boss to send you there you might be interested in this discount code from EMC….
Are you wanting to go to VMworld 2011 in Copenhagen, but you've missed the Early Bird deadline for registration?
I hope to see you there… -:) You can catch me by Twitter for example….. is the best way to do it: @vladan
I'll be live blogging from the sessions, and also should be able to schedule daily posts from the event. I'm also taking with me a small pocket camcorder to be able to record some videos from the event and to feed my YouTube Channel…. -:)
The camcorder lacks an external mic. -:(. It's a 2years old pocket model. I was planning to change for a one with an external mic – like the one Kodak Playtouch has, but this year with all the expenses…..
For the next VMworld I should be able to get one with an external mic which permits to record better sound. Unless, a generous sponsor will help with that?
